My name is Howard Paulsen. I have been on the family farm just north of Stavely since 1956. My wife, Judy, who passed away in 2002, was the recreational therapist for the Porcupine Hills Lodge for several years. This place and her people have always had a special place in my heart. Cindee Schossberger

I was born in Lethbridge, Alberta the fourth child to Stanley and Hazel Lyckman.  I was raised on the homestead east of Carmangay, moving to Claresholm when my parents retired in 1975.  I graduated High School in Claresholm and  started working locally as a bookkeeper, over the years acquiring training that moved me to an administration management position within the company I was working for.  I married Brad Schlossberger in 1981 and we have  three boys. All three loved to pay hockey and baseball, so we spent many hours at the rink and ball diamond supporting their passions. Our boys are young adults now and live in Lethbridge, our oldest Brendan has an accounting degree and is working at the MD of Pincher Creek, our middle son Brett is enrolled at the University and Jamie our youngest is working towards a degree at the Lethbridge College. We have our live invested in our community and love Claresholm.  Over the years I have sat on the following boards, Claresholm Elementary School, Playschool, United Church, Claresholm Minor Hockey and Family & Community Support Services.  I currently also am involved in the establishment of a responds model for the Elder Abuse Committee and the Physician Recruitment and Retention Committee.  In my spare time I love to walk with our dog, do yoga, read, garden, and go camp and backpacking.  I look forward my time on the Porcupine Hills Lodge board and visiting with you when I come in.
